Four on the Floor Tournament

The inaugural Four on the Floor is a 4v4 soccer tournament for all ages being held Dec. 29 to Jan. 2.

  • Six divisions: 12U A, 12U B, Middle School, High School, Adult Co-Ed, Adult Open.
  • Only eight teams will be accepted into each division. All teams are guaranteed at least five games.
  • Each division will consist of two brackets, with the bracket winners playing for the championship on Friday, Jan. 2.
  • The cost us $100 per team.
  • Roster sizes are a minimum of five players, maximum of seven.

Divisions and Dates

12U A: Bracket 1 is Tuesday, Bracket 2 is Thursday. Bracket winners play for the championship on Friday.

12U B: Bracket 1 is Monday, Bracket 2 is Wednesday. Bracket winners play for the championship on Friday.

Middle School: Bracket 1 is Monday, Bracket 2 is Wednesday. Bracket winners play for the championship on Friday.

High School: Bracket 1 is Tuesday, Bracket 2 is Thursday. Bracket winners play for the championship on Friday.

Adult Co-Ed: Bracket 1 is Monday, Bracket 2 is Wednesday. Bracket winners play for the championship on Friday.

Adult Open: Bracket 1 is Tuesday, Bracket 2 is Thursday. Bracket winners play for the championship on Friday.

Rules

Games are 25 minutes played on a small-sided field with small goals.

Four players on the floor with no goalie.

The are no gender-mix requirements in any division EXCEPT Adult Co-Ed. At least one man and at least one woman is required to be in the game at all times for the Adult Co-Ed division only.

There are two brackets in each age division. Divisions are limited to eight teams, with four teams in each bracket.

Each team will play every team in its bracket, plus two playoffs games. All brackets will be completed in one day.

Bracket winners advance to Friday's championship games.

Tie-breakers used to determine bracket winners:

  • Head-to-head
  • Goals allowed
  • Goal differential
  • Flip of a coin

Playoff games will be decided by a five-minute Golden Goal overtime and, if necessary, sudden-death penalty kicks on a full-size goal.
